Application Tips
This lightener is formulated for professional salon use. In a non-metallic bowl, mix 35g (1 part) of Igora Vario Blond Extra Power Lightener with 70ml (2 parts) of IGORA Colorist's Color & Care Developer at 3%, 6%, or up to 9%, depending on the desired lift. Blend until smooth and creamy. For first-time applications on natural hair, begin by applying to the mid-lengths and ends, leaving 1-2cm from the scalp, and process for about 10 minutes to achieve 2-3 levels of lift. Then, apply to the roots. For on-scalp techniques, use up to 6% developer, carefully avoiding skin contact. Always apply to dry, unwashed hair in fine sections, starting at the nape. Process for 20-45 minutes, checking every 5 minutes, and do not use heat. Rinse thoroughly, then shampoo and condition.
